:gosox3: I must confess, I'm a virgin in starting game threads, but not any more. :gosox4:

go Count, bring it.. no grand slams in the first inning this time. :cheers

Of course Count is pitching when I'm going...again. Ugh.

go go white sox

If BA is in the lineup im going to vomit, he looks like a 5th grader out there. When he was up last night i was hoping for a hbp cuz i figured it was the only way to get on base for Erstad.

Lets get a big W tonight though, we roughed up Robertson last game lets do i t again with the Count

Go Sox! I'll be there! Hopefully we get this one in and get us a W!

"Anyone can HABLA a good game."

ETDB and the offense rolls strong tonight.

PLEASE dont give up 100 runs in the first inning

any predictions/forecasts on whether or not the weather lets this game happen?

I'm predicting a HUGE game from Joe Crede on his birthday! Go Joe! Go White Sox, kill the Tigers tonight!

I'll warn the chairs around you.

70% chance of rain tonight, who knows if we get this game in.

this does not look good. pouring in tinley right now.

could be a blessing - mags is on fire and it looks like sheffield is warming up, too. We don't see Detroit again until July 23rd.

the title of the thread says day/night doubleheader scheduled, but I havent seen this anywhere. On whitesox.com it stated that the two teams have yet to determine a make-up date. Is it actually possible they try to run this back tomorrow?? That would certainly be a nice afternooon/evening.

There will be a day night double header on July 24th.

Two admissions > one admission.

Two parking charges > one parker.

Two customers eating and drinking >......you get the idea.

Maybe I'm alone in this, but I never liked doubleheaders - for me, there IS such a thing as "too much of a good thing".

unless you have tickets to both games.

go to first game, get tons of sun and drink.....leave game, go to jimbo's, drink. go back to late game, spend the entire time peeing in the stall.

cant wait.

Uh yeah, its sunny outside. WTF.

the field probably got practically destroyed from all the rain... I don't think the Sun would do much help.

that field drains better than any field in the MLB. I think they were anticipating the storms that are about an hour away.

It really doesn't matter, IMO. The field might drain better then any other, but I guarantee it was still a mess, and with the storms scheduled to come a bit later, this was the wisest move.
