Funny you should know that...

Shortly after the punishment was handed out, defense attorney Howard Weitzman said he would appeal. "I'm shocked, I'm surprised and really disheartened in the system that I've worked in for close to 40 years," Weitzman said, adding that the sentence was "uncalled for, inappropriate and bordered on the ludicrous. I think she's singled out because of who she is."

 

Sure, I would love to see what a normal person would be sentenced if they pulled the same crap while driving. I think her sentence is light because of who she is, not inappropriate and ludicrous because of who she is. Not only was her license suspended, she was driving the wrong way on a highway and had no lights on. She should have extra time added for being a moron.

No kidding Kyyle. She better be sitting her ass in the slammer soon. She's lucky it's only 45 days.

When you have that much money and its these types of offenses you can buy your way out. I really hope she has to go but if they keep throwing money at it in appeals she might be able to get around it.
