Jose completely controlled this lineup tonight...completely. If he'd have left him in to pitch to Abreau I'd have not minded considering our gascan bullpen.

I wanted Contreras out mostly due to the easy chance Jeter had to steal. From the times I've seen Cabrera bat, he is much more comfortable batting lefty.

It's sad when Boone Logan is one of only 2 bullpen arms we have that doesn't suck.

Hardest hit ball all night. Keep reaching for that bullpen guys. Had Jose been struggling thats one thing, but Ive never seen this Yankee team with such pitiful swings tonight.

 

The only reason we didn't turn two or three DPs is the balls have been hit so slow. Jose dominated this team tonight and we're going to take an L for it.

I mentioned his name early and completely forgot he was available. He must have an attitude problem.

Typical evening for our starters. Good outing through 6-7 innings, a few runners are on once they depart, then the bullpen comes in and lets the inherited runners score.

We'll be hearing about how the wind cost us this game for this entire weekend.
