Be positive. Maybe he was traded.

The fact that DJ is giving NO updates on JD's health is quite suspicious.

Maybe JD's been traded. :P

2 diving catches and his bat looks good. I am sure there has to be a scout in attendance that sees that.

My guess would be he was removed for precautionary reasons.

Hahaha...

I was on the phone with my dad and we both said the same thing! Hilarious!

so what is the best case scenario for our team these days? does anyone believe we can contend?

so what is the best case scenario for our team these days?

Josh Fields gets a few hits a night.

Well Paul Konerko does. That makes one person.

Fields does well

Sweeney is called up and does well

Any young pitchers we might call up do well

Receive max value for Dye and Buehrle

Maybe get something for somebody else

I love it when Hawk jerks off an umpire when they give us the close bang bang play.

Then I love it when Hawk about a half inning later, starts screaming about teacups and how they got jobbed on a similiar play that goes the other way.

Santo with legs, thats our Hawk.

," Williams said. "I can't recall a stretch, at least within the last seven years, that we've played this poorly.

"And I'm comfortable that the players are continuing to fight. ... I think we can stand behind them as long as it makes sense to stand behind them. ... When it slaps you in the face too that OK you're still in that mode, you'd better reassess and possibly redirect things."

Williams declined to be specific about the possibility or re-signing Buehrle. Buehrle passed on a new deal in the middle of last season, one that reportedly guaranteed more than $30 million over three years.

Buehrle, who threw a no-hitter earlier this season, is hearing trade rumors.

"People text me saying, 'I heard you are going there or I heard you are going here.' It's kind of funny because of all the rumors you hear," Buehrle said.

Asked if he could envision being traded, he said:

"Yes and no. I can see why I would be, the way we are playing and the baseball side of it. But then again I want to spend my whole career here."

Did a great Marlins impression right there.

Thome gets to 500 homers and Danks starts pitching more like Mark Buehrle than Neal Cotts.

Who didn't see that coming?

Our 50 year old pitcher, got a case of the poopy shorts there.

It was funny being around a lot of major league scouts this past weekend....let's just say they think Ozzie is doing a superb job.

This is turning into a titanic struggle between 2 atrocious squads.

Ahh you beat me too it. Ramirez safe by a mile and Hawk says the ump is one of the best in the game while watching the replay. Then DJ starts chuckling to himself.

Well dont ask for so many years or money and you will be. If you want to get paid what the rest of the pitchers want for the years you want, see you later Marky Mark.

I still can't figure out what posessed JD to actually run for once

I would bet that, assuming your actually telling the truth about being around these scouts, they think Kenny is doing an even more superb job.

Nothing on Dye yet.

AAAA Buckvich is up.

Nothing on Dye yet.

It's very suspecious to say the least.

THAT is the Olivo we know and love.

DO NOT THROW IT UP AND IN TO BOONE!
