Pods Recalled

Featured Replies

Please tell me that the admins have installed a greener green...

Once he gets injured, we'll hear about how he rushed to the rescue after Erstad got hurt and he hurt himself that way...trying to be a hero!

Oh, what a guy Podsednik is!

Pods Injured.

What, too soon?

When he heard the news, I'm sure he jumped for joy.

So, prolly not.

So when is the next groin surgery.

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 22, 2007 -> 10:44 PM)
yup.

Who is going away? Erstad back to DL? Andy?

Does it matter.

I just like to be informed. :D

I jsut got word from Charlotte. Didn't saya who he'd replace.

Erstad is probably headed back to the DL after re-aggravating that ankle injury.

So is anyone at all excited about Podsednik's return?

The over under on PAs before his inevitable return to the DL is 39.5.

So does that put his sorry ass in the lineup on Sunday?

Like him or not, ol Scotty has some sort of positive effect when he's hitting.

So making fun of him once wasn't enough so you decided to do it again in less than 15 minutes unsolicited. Nice guy.

Whether it's helping the team win the game or helping the team win a good draft pick...either way, it's positive...

You mean like every other leadoff hitter in baseball?

Yes. Exactly like that. :P

He's actually the grindy one that I like. Dunno why.

This could have something to do with it.

Wow what a babe.

Prancer :cheers

as a canuck may say, aboot damn time! this guy was getting fat off of AAA pitching on the East Coast in the Carolinas. he's the best hitter we got this year. he's 10x the lead off hitter Jerry Owens is. I guarantee instead of averaging 2 runs a game with owens/terrero leading off, we'll average 3 runs per game with Podz. :gosoxretro:

I really don't think that Podsednik qualifies as a grinder. I've never heard him referred to as a grinder before. I don't think he's a grinder. He's too...pretty to be a grinder.

I was making fun of the organization more than him with my second comment, and it was prompted by the Q, "How long before he gets injured."

Dramatic Prairie Dog is not amused by this.
