July 8, 200718 yr DLS is supposed to pitch at some point, but I haven't paid too much attention to stuff like that.
July 8, 200718 yr QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 8, 2007 -> 01:12 PM) What's the estimated velocity we'll actually see from DLS? I say the gun will have him top out at 93-94. But for the most part he will be in the 90-92 MPH range.
July 8, 200718 yr I think I read/heard that Fautino will pitch between the 4th and 6th innings. I think I heard this or read it, but it is very possible that I completely made it up, too.
July 8, 200718 yr It will be funny how people's opinion of a possible trade for Ellsbury would be effected depending on how he does today.
July 8, 200718 yr How does a guy with numbers like Vanden Hurk start the futures game? And Ellsbury is god-like fast.
July 8, 200718 yr Ellsbury would be a nice fit considering our manager, but I wouldn't want him to be the main part of the deal (ie him and spare parts). If it is him with some more talent I could be happy.

Well I don't think Buehrle goes there unless Buchholz is coming back, which most likey isn't happening. July 8, 200718 yr I can see KW taking Ellsbury and Bowden. Most would be really pissed, but I'd be fine with it. Ellsbury fits a lot of holes the team has.
July 8, 200718 yr The 8 ERA was his major league ERA. His minor league numbers aren't ridiculous but they were pretty good this year.
July 8, 200718 yr Yeah like Jason impolied, Ellbsbury is a guy that both Ozzie and us would appreciate as a leadoff hitter. No Pods/Erstad. But if he were to be the main piece along with Lowrie or something, I'd be pissed.

I was confused too when I saw the 29 innings, but now it makes sense. July 8, 200718 yr The BoSox could still have interest in another Sox starter, but it won't be Buehrle
July 8, 200718 yr QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 8, 2007 -> 08:51 PM) The BoSox could still have interest in another Sox starter, but it won't be Buehrle Would the Angels have interest in a starter, considering Santana's and Colon's struggles? I'd still love to have Santana, even with his problems this year. His K/BB rate is okay, but gosh damn is that guy giving up some homers...
