I've been hearing so much about this trailer. Finally it's been uploaded. Looks sooooooooo awesome. Brilliant marketing idea too.

I have no idea what these links are, if anything. I just saw on another message board that they might have to do with the movie.

or cause its seems like it will be built up so much, a complete bust.

I remember seeing this preview before Transformers had started.

It was called something like Big Robot when I saw it.

Looks alright.

It's a monster, so I'm gonna go with complete suckfest. Although it might rake at the box office.

To solve http://www.ethanhaaswasright.com/

1) first follow the patterns on the sphere. This unlocks a video.

2) put your mouse of the stars. one shows a pattern. this pattern is the alphabet. Figure out how to spell "HAAS". Put "HA" on the inner ring and find "AS" on the outer ring. This unlocks another video.

3) This is a game of pegged. A lit peg hops other lit pegs and is placed in an unlit peg. The hopped peg is removed. You must finish with exactly 1 lit peg. This unlocks another video.

4) Maninpulate the green dots into the gear like areas. You unlock another video.

5) Use the alphabet to spell out "THEBEGINNINGISTHEEND" . Unlock video... get added to a mailing list for the next clue (August 1st).

Nope. "Bad Robot Productions" is JJ Abrams's production company. This company and Abrams are responsible for Joy Ride, Alias, Lost, Six Degrees, What About Brian and others.

Haha, Abrams used the black cloud noise from Lost for this monster too.

I'm a huge JJ Abrams fan, so I'm thinking this one could be really good.

What just happened?

Saw that preview before Transformers, and it looks awful. At the end, everyone in the theatre was chuckling, like.. "was that supposed to be scary or funny?"

"I saw it! It's alive! It's huge!"

This looks like it may be pretty good, provided all those people at the party get killed.

At first I thought it was going to be M. Night's new flick....but I didn't see any famous people, so I knew it wasn't.

I think Mark Wahlberg is supposed to star in it.

So I saw the trailer earlier.. is it just me or does it look like it could be Rampage

I thought the exact same thing... but how the hell do you make that a movie...

also, it seems too stupid for Abrams, lol.

Is it just me, or does it look like a Godzilla film...or a King Kong flick...or Beast From 20,000 Fathoms...or Gappa...or Gorgo...

:D

Big monster on the loose? No Devlin attached? I'm THERE! My only hope is that this time somebody creates a cool looking monster, unlike that crap in '98.

I saw it and thought it looked pretty cool but the rest of the audience didn't seem to think so.

Holy crap...I'm gonna have to find that emulator.

  • 3 weeks later...

At Comic Con, JJ Abrams confirmed the "monster movie" status.

I think its gonna be interesting. Supposedly the entire film was shot on handheld videocameras, and its supposed to be Godzilla meets War of the Worlds. Im a sucker for that type of stuff, so I will probably like it :)
