What is very strange about that is that his fastball was hitting 91-94 for the first two batters and then magically dropped into the high 80s. Very troubling.

He is throwing a two seamer a lot it seems.

If I was a batter, I would imagine the ball is very easy to pick up out of Floyds release. Just me?

That 90 mph fastball down the plate is going to get demolished.

Good grief, he's awful.

Who the f***?

f*** this

That has pitch was s***. Middle in, no movement. He cant make that mistake too much.

He needs to get his curve over soon, or he wont last.

So Haeger is coming into the game in about ... the 4th inning?

Just call Floyd "she"...it at least will make you laugh.

Hopefully this is the last we see of Gavin.

Maybe someone will take a chance on him, and we can trade him also. I want to face him right now!

my lord

Let's be accurate here.

Floyd looked awesome in the Arizona Fall League. Masset looked good in the Mexican League. :P

Together, they have proven our scouting department can scout other teams players anywhere in North America. And, at that, base a decision upon limited innings.

Nice defense Mack. You get over there, and forget to catch the ball. Nice job Rob.

At least we got Gio back. Nice effort Mack.

Floyd has one of the worst curveballs I've ever seen. Can we just fire the GM and Manager, and start over? This gets more embarassing every single day.

Way to help the kid Rob, holy hell

Fields has no range. No range at all.

*rolls eyes*

Great play by Josh, didn't get him but that's a great stop

We're lucky Granderson didn't send Floyds hanging curveball into the stands.

I don't care whether or not this is his second start for the White Sox, he's looked TERRIBLE from the innings I've seen him. And I'm not judging merely based on results, but his stuff. As Fathom noted, his fastball deterioated quickly after the first. Hitters are having good looks at his now 91 mph fastball and a curveball which bites only half the time.

Another embarrassment for the White Sox scouting department it seems.

You know what cracks me up....we're trying to showcase Jermaine Dye for a trade, and we play him against one of the better righties in the AL but sit him against a rookie pitcher with an ERA above 20.
