November 24, 200718 yr QUOTE(Brian @ Nov 24, 2007 -> 01:43 PM) 7-0 SIU Make that 14-0 SIU. Nick Hill just set the SIU record for TDs in a season (25) His season completion percentage is ridiculous too, 74% Edited November 24, 200718 yr by kyyle23
November 24, 200718 yr QUOTE(Sonik22 @ Nov 24, 2007 -> 02:42 PM) 20-0 SIU at the half! I'm loving the free Dawgwatch today! Why aren't you in Champaign?
November 24, 200718 yr QUOTE(Brian @ Nov 24, 2007 -> 02:55 PM) Why aren't you in Champaign? Long story involving my friend who was supposed to drive a lot of us, backing out last minute because of a family thing. It was too late of a notice for any of us to drive. I'm kinda pissed but now i get to watch the SIU game, LZ game, and the Mizzou game, and i stay warm.
November 24, 200718 yr SIU vs UMASS next playoff game. In fact SIU - UMass is during the day, and at night is SIU mens BB vs Indiana. Thats going to be an insane day in Carbondale
November 24, 200718 yr Make that 4 overtimes! I don't know how this only seems to happen in the SEC, but it sure as hell is exciting. Tennessee up 52-44. UK's turn.
November 24, 200718 yr Wow, this game is unbelievably awesome. On a sidenote, Erik Ainge is going to be a very good NFL QB (I don't know what round he's expected to go but I'd love the Bears to get him in the mid rounds). He's tall and extremely accurate.
November 24, 200718 yr Tenn wins as Woodson's scramble is stopped short and they can't get the 2 point conversion. I actually thought for a second that Woodson was going to have a shot to get creamed but have momentum carry but than the Vol came out of nowhere from behind to strip him and take him down. Awesome game.

November 25, 200718 yr QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Nov 24, 2007 -> 06:15 PM) Hasnt he been a little bit injury prone? Not really. He has started 24 of the last 25 games Tennessee has had, only missing the LSU game his junior year. As a UT student/fan, I would not want the Bears to take him any earlier than the 4th round. He's a lot like Grossman in that he doesn't handle being pressured well. When he doesn't have time to throw, he tends to panic and not keep his eyes downfield, like all good QB's do. Unfortunately, that's not the kind of thing that can easily be taught, if at all. He's about perfect when he has time to throw, but the Bears already have a guy like that. One good thing he does do is limit the sacks he takes, as he has only been sacked 3 times this entire year, though UT's O-Line should get a lot of credit for that too. Another thing is that he is great at leading the receiver/throwing the ball before the WR has broken into his route, so that as soon as the WR turns his head, the ball is right there. That's one thing that has to be done in the pro's b/c of the speed of the DBs and their ability to break on the ball. His TD/INT ratio is solid at 27/8, and the KY game was the first in which he had more than one INT. Of course, two of his INTs in the KY game were the receivers fault. One was b/c of a WR bobbling the ball, and the other was b/c a WR got lazy and didn't make a sharp cut (kind of rounded it off), which allowed the DB to jump the ball. Oh, and as for that game. Wow, just wow. I was freaking out so much the last few minutes with UT's dropped passes/dropped INTs. The defense really stepped up at the end of the game. But, I'm going to Atlanta next week! Go Vols!!! Edited November 25, 200718 yr by dasox24
November 25, 200718 yr Missouri playing like the best team in the country right now. How in the heck did we hang with them?
November 25, 200718 yr For you FCS football fans, Northern Iowa advances on a 40 yd TD with 7 seconds left.
November 25, 200718 yr #1!!!!Hopefully, we jump West Virginia. But man is Chase Daniel amazing. But give some credit to Reesing, he is a gamer and gonna be a good one for two more years. Just made a couple of mistakes, but I will take Chase Daniel as my QB anyday, but Reesing is close as second.
November 25, 200718 yr Next Saturday will be a really good game. OU should have more fans, plus a healthy Bradford again.
November 25, 200718 yr I think Mizzou will take down OU and I certainly hope so. I'd LOVE to see a Mizzou-WVU national championship game(obviously WVU has to get through Pitt as well).

Just made a couple of mistakes, but I will take Chase Daniel as my QB anyday, but Reesing is close as second. Reesing was nervous in the beginning and did not like getting pressured. He did better once he realized he was going to have to move around, but I was not impressed. He's a solid QB, but not elite. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Nov 24, 2007 -> 11:16 PM) I think Mizzou will take down OU and I certainly hope so. I'd LOVE to see a Mizzou-WVU national championship game(obviously WVU has to get through Pitt as well). I'm hoping West Virginia lose because I think they would run all over Mizzou. It was nice to see Danario Alexander have a great game because he's the best athlete in our receiving core. He's got an absurd vertical leap and a pro body. He's dropped some balls and maybe became a head case at points during the season, but he has a ton of talent. As for Kansas, I think they are just an extremely consistent top 15 team. They still have not beaten a good team, but it's obvious they are a solid club. They just don't commit penalties and usually don't turn the ball over. Basically, in a season where everyone is f'ing up and losing to teams they shouldn't, Kansas hasn't f'd up.
November 25, 200718 yr the amount of penalties m-i-z racked up tonight was absurd. We should have won by way more
November 25, 200718 yr Would love to see a new rule requiring at least 7 wins for bowl eligibility now. With so many teams playing at least 12 games, you should at least be required to have a winning record, and not have a chance of having a losing record after a bowl game. Then we might be able to cut out some of these MeinekeDarleneTheCrackSmokerButShesInRehab.com bowls. Edited November 25, 200718 yr by Palehosefan
