7/2--->Sox vs. Twinkies Game Thread

Featured Replies

Yes, lets go back to blaming Koch for everything, that seems to be the popular thing to do

I won't blame him. He looked good. Kielty did a hell of af job on an outside pitch.

Koch made a good pitch and Rivas probably doesn't triple if the outfield is at normal depth.

Then again Rivas doesn't typically hit the ball that hard.

Another tough loss barring a miracle. We can't seem to sweep anybody.

It's impossible to believe Maggs hit into the dp.

another great victory, Sox scoring two in 11th to win

send some good karma out, please

and it is very possible to believe Mags hits into double play, year in year out he leads in that category

all this giving up talk is damned despressing

You dont come back and win many games you gave away..............its realism.

The fans had to be stunned when Maggs did that. Maggis is da man normally.

What???????

Mags leads every year in hit into dps

I don't think you can play shallow with two outs and a guy like Rivas up. you gotta stop the double. either way, it is over with. Rivas could've easily of stolen second with Koch on the mound anyway.

as far as Koch pitching? personally I think that is a time to use Glover or Sanders.

This loss had absolutely nothing to do with Koch.  Koch should have never pitched.

what loss?

the game is being plated, we didn't surrender

here we go bottom of the 11th...

Koch is the man with the ball in his hand and needs to shut down the Twinkies. It's just like Marte giving up the hit to let in the tie run. You have to put them down 1-2-3 if you are the closer in a tight game.

I am karmanizing now for a comeback.

Your right, in that situation you play deep to keep runners out of scoring position.

Konerko is on deck and Carlos Lee is at the plate.

Daubach's day appears to be over.

Please, get a big hit, someone and lets keep this one alive.

1 out

Lee batting

lets go CLee!

PK in on deck circle for BD

Lee flies out

Thats it, two outs, and my rally cap goes on.

My favorite guy Konerko is coming up...

:headbang

PK hits home run game tied

KONERKO TIES IT!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UNREAL

:headbang

NOW THAT IS A SHOCKER!!!!!!!!!!

Down to our last out..

PAULIE!!!!!!!!!!!

PK!!! good time to wake up and hit!

OH MY f***ING GOD

NOW THAT IS A SHOCKER!!!!!!!!!!

Last guy in the world i thought could or would do that...... :o

OH MY GOOOOOOODDDDD!!!!!!

:headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang

I'm talking about Maggs failing in the clutch.

I'd think fans would be shocked he would not be able to hit a medium deep fly ball to win the game.

I don't care if he leads the league in dps all the time. He's a clutch player. That's where the shock comes in.

i am in complete and utter disbelief! :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang

Oh man, I hope that is the beginning of it for Pauly. Crede flies out to end the 11th, on to the 12th.
