December 13, 200718 yr QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 12:52 PM) I think the Canseco one was clearly a mistake. Schoenweis, I don't know. But we really should make sure to insert a question about that at Soxfest. An answer to that question is something we should get...what did they know about that. Personally I think use was so widespread, every team looked the other way. It would be a great question at Soxfest. I doubt you would get a good answer .
December 13, 200718 yr um so jeremy schapp just said the mitchell report has dozens of pictures of checks from guys like vina, rondell white, who arent on those lists mentioned before to the mets clubhouse guy for roids....mitchell report also had something that said clemens asked about some steroid from his trainer, his trainer told him not to take it, so he went to canseco to get it....clemens trainer also said that he himself had injected clemens with a different type of steroid, winsterol or something....mitchell report will be posted on mlb.com Edited December 13, 200718 yr by daa84
December 13, 200718 yr I turned on ESPN News and caught the backend of Jeremy Shapp (SP?) reading off some names, the only new name I heard was Rondell White.
December 13, 200718 yr QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 01:55 PM) Reynolds says 39 of the 75 players on that list we saw earlier are not true. Figures. It sure did seem like too obvious a list. Like, get a bunch of baseball-knowledgeable people in a room, and come up with a list of who is likely to be on it. Some are probably true, like the ones that have had admitted it (Bonds, Giambi) or practically so (McGuire).
December 13, 200718 yr QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 12:59 PM) The report will be available in PDF on mlb.com momentarily. I just downloaded it. 409 pages Edited December 13, 200718 yr by Athomeboy_2000

If so, that could be interesting.

December 13, 200718 yr That's a shame Pujols is on there. Wood AND Prior hahah. Thank god karma was served.
December 13, 200718 yr Other players that Anderson has obtained “the clear” and “the cream” for from Balco are Benito Santiago, Gary Sheffield, Marvin Benard, Jason Giambi and Randy Velarde. Sometime [sic] the substances are given to Anderson to give to the athletes and sometimes the athletes are given the substances directly. . . . MORE COMING
December 13, 200718 yr "Each of the 30 clubs have had players who have been involved at some time in their careers".
December 13, 200718 yr That '03 Cubs team is loaded with users. Unfortunately there was one on our 2005 team according to the list I've seen, but it's Jurassic Carl so it's not that big of a deal.
December 13, 200718 yr QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 02:04 PM) NO ALBERT PUJOLS IN MITCHELL REPORT. Harold Reynolds was saying on MLB.tv that a bunch of the names on the WNBC list were wrong.
