February 3, 200818 yr dun dun dun ... AL Central Fans ... the time has come to see Johan Santana not in a Twins Hat and Uni! too dramatic? oh well!
February 3, 200818 yr I put things in perspective, Johan will be making almost as much (average per year of contract) as ARod per season and only playing 1/5 of the games. February 3, 200818 yr I get the feeling this contract will be regretted much more then the Pedro one. I just get disgusted by teams being able to waste 10's of millions of dollars a season on dead weight and smaller franchises can/will not resign players. There is no parity in baseball as much as it may be touted to be.
February 3, 200818 yr QUOTE(knightni @ Feb 3, 2008 -> 12:12 PM) He passed the physical, so yes, he's a Met. So then the title of the thread should be "Santana traded to the Mets" edit: Now that the thread title is changed, i can officially rejoice that the Sox will not be gauranteed to be completely owned at least once per series vs the Twins. Hooray! Edited February 3, 200818 yr by kyyle23
