If Randle could hit FT, he would be a seriously good player. That and staying healthy. That's one guy I would have loved to see at full strength throughout his career.

Gordon whines more than Pruitt when a call goes against him. Didn't think that was possible.

Wait til Richmond gets to Illinois. No joke.

I think it's safe to say these teams do not like each other.

Ellis really lost his cool there.

Are you serious? Gordon is not known to show much emotion at all. He's a teenager though, it does come out sometimes.

gotta love this incidental contact

Wow. Pruitt got raped and no call. And I have no rooting interest.

indiana is too good to keep missing the open 3-pointers illinois gives them when they collaps on the drives and doubles

You know when the announcers are going nuts over it, it must be bad.

But Illinois is just physically outclassed and they are starting to look tired (Brock especially).

way to state the obvious. we've only been talking about this from the preseason up until now. remember, illinois did lose at home to tennessee state. i don't think anyone was making the argument they were talented.

my question would be why a team that is so outclassed isn't getting tihskicked by a team that's won 26 straight at home. to me, that would be a more salient observation and one that actually took some thought, not just regurgitating something you read on a message board.

No one should be questioning that Illinois is playing well. They certainly are. Even if Indiana has missed a bunch of open looks, can't take away Illinois' effort.

A little hyperbole after he was whining a ton after a call.

IU got so lucky on that last possession annd than Meacham with the big answer.

I didn't think I was regugitating anything. So about another topic. McCamey has shown some good court vision and has looked faster on defense than in previous games. In the 2nd half he's seemed reticent to control the ball as much as he did in the first half. He's picking up his dribble quickly. I don't know if that's being tired or just Basset's defense. Either way it was a good game for him.

How can you possibly just call that IU's ball? F'ing pathetic. That should be our ball.

Ball was kicked out of bounds by the Indiana player.

Illini still has a chance to win though

No foul on IU there? Really?

Edit: No doubt foul on IU there.

Randle, that was exactly the shot we wanted you to take...and thanks for your great career

I see why Illini Nation hates Randle.

really? illinois has lost four straight including to tennessee state at home. indiana has won 26 straight at home. we've been talking for two years and agreeing that bruce weber hasn't recruited top talent. with all that in mind, your first two best observations of this game are that illinois isn't physically talented? ok. maybe you just aren't good at providing good objective analysis at basketball. that's ok. few are.

Which one, lol? Looked like Ratliff had ball on the rebounded shot though.

nice effort from illinois today but effort isn't good enough. at some point you have to win some of these games.

Ratliff reached in and fouled him.

IU played a terrible, terrible game, but the good guys won and thats all that matters. Thank you Bassett.

Disappointing career to say the least. Too bad too. Thought he was going to be a great player...
