March 22, 200818 yr Wisconsin's guards just played a masterful game. If their guards are going to play like that, they'll beat Georgetown and be able to give North Carolina a game next week. I give them credit, Kansas State is a good team and Wisconsin just wore them down mentally and physically.
March 22, 200818 yr Georgetown or Davidson, its fun to get to sit back and know that your team will be playing next week.
March 22, 200818 yr QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 22, 2008 -> 07:38 PM) Let's go Rebs. I'm all for that. I picked Clemson ouy of the Midwest, so, it'll be great to f*** over everyone else's bracket as well.
March 23, 200818 yr QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 22, 2008 -> 07:46 PM) Oooh, good game between KU and UNLV that CBS needs to switch to after Stanqette. MVP of that game, the refs....46 fouls, cmon guys!!!
March 23, 200818 yr QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Mar 22, 2008 -> 10:49 PM) Georgetown or Davidson, its fun to get to sit back and know that your team will be playing next week. I'm supposed to hate the Badgers but I don't. I guess my proximity has to do with it -- things may have been different had I been born-and-raised in Wisconsin. I think part of it was because there was a smugness among Marquette fans about the Big 10 -- they enjoyed bashing the hell out of it, basically nothing different from what a lot of other people were saying but arrogant nonetheless. So in that sense I'm happy to see MSU and Wisconsin in the Sweet 16. That's not to say I'll be rooting for them when they play (hopefully) Georgetown next weekend -- far from it. Not that you care who the hell I root for in the first place... Ah, I see I'm rambling at this point. So yeah, I don't hate the Badgers and still feel like my balls are in my stomach from that MU/Stanford game. Ugh.
March 23, 200818 yr I never even knew MU was a rival of Wisconsin until I started reading Rival and Scout message boards. I guess its because im from Illinois and therefore I only really think of Big 10 teams as rivals. I feel for you on the MU game.
March 23, 200818 yr Bye Bye Hoyas. I swear to God, I wanted to pick Davidson over GTown but didn't have the guts. I'm such a sissy. Hibbert is so overrated. He can't stay out of foul trouble at the college level. How is that gonna transfer to NBA?
March 23, 200818 yr With all due respect to Davidson.......what a great break for Wisconsin. Davidson has very smart guards in Curry and Richards, but I can't see them beating Wisconsin. I give them credit though, what they've done already is a great accomplishment, and it's always great to see double digit seeds doing big things.

Davidson has no chance against Wisconsin and their defense, which is a real shame. G-Town/Wisconsin would have been a great game, too, although no one would have ever scored in it.
March 23, 200818 yr I was also looking forward to seeing a Georgetown - Wisconsin matchup. I thought their similar styles would make for an interesting battle. Wisky is certainly a dangerous team and one I don't think enough people give them the proper credit due.
March 24, 200818 yr Stephen Curry is incredible. You've gotta think his NBA stock is soaring right now.
March 24, 200818 yr I'm really happy I didn't switch Davidson to Georgetown. That's probably the only thing going right for me so far.
March 24, 200818 yr QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Mar 23, 2008 -> 07:01 PM) Stephen Curry is incredible. You've gotta think his NBA stock is soaring right now. Depends on how tall he really is. I've seen everything from 6'0" to 6'3". Whatever it really is, it's a bit small for a 2-guard, though the guy can definitely play.
