I don't have too many this year, the bubble teams/mid majors just aren't very strong.

10. Arizona in the elite 8 (that's my craziest one by far, and will probably get me burned)

11. Baylor over 6. Purdue

11. Kentucky over 6. Marquette (likely to get me burned, but I refuse to take more than 10 min on a bracket)

4. Pittsburgh over 1. Memphis

10. South Alabama over 7. Butler

11. Kansas State in sweet 16

10. Davidson over 7. Gonzaga

I know a 5 always beats a 12, but I couldn't do it. Villanova doesn't deserve to be in, I love George Mason but Notre Dame shoots too well, and Michigan State will beat Temple. To me, Western Kentucky is the most favorable #12 seed, but Drake is just too fundementally sound and experienced IMO.

Overall, a very boring bracket for me with three #1's and a #2 in the final four, but I can't pick upsets that I can't see happening. I'm sure some of you (gage) will have crazy first round upsets though and so on.

Best 13+ seeds with a chance to advance:

Oral Roberts(Have an RPI of 53, which rivals most bubble teams. Have beaten next to no one though)

Winthrop(No where near as good as the team they had last year, but still pretty decent and could cause problems against a Wazzu team that is just 4-7 against the RPI top 50)

San Diego(Already have 3 wins versus the top 50, plus another against Kentucky)

I can't see this being a boring bracket. Beyond the one seeds, everyone else seems to be much weaker than usual.

I haven't gone through my bracket yet and probably won't till tomorrow morning. But I obviously have Fullerton over Wiscy (and thats just me liking the matchup, plus a major mixture of homerism).

Baylor over Purdue and I'll probably hammer on a few other Big ten schools as well. I have Butler going into the sweet 16 though or at least I'm considering it.

Clemson making the Final Four is my big one.

The midwest division is pretty weak.

Oral Roberts (sweet 16)

S. Alabama

Davidson

Baylor, but I hope not

Western Kentucky

St. Joseph's

Arizona (sweet 16/elite 8)

I wanted to put Baylor over Xavier so bad, but I just couldn't do it.

Western Kentucky in the sweet 16(I think their game against Drake will be fantastic, winner to the s16 imo)

Butler and WVU in the s16

ORU over Pitt

Those are the major ones for me.

I think when my friend goes to Vegas this week that I'll have him put $20 on Baylor over Purdue.

Winthrop over Wash. St. book it.

I tend to go with a fair amount of chalk and then some really crazy stuff so...

St Joe's in the Sweet 16

Nova over Clemson (Clemson's FT shooting scares me in a close game)

USC in the Sweet 16 (though I have a feeling Mayo will throw it away in the clutch)

Gonzaga in the Elite 8

Marquette over Stanford

Western Kentucky over Drake

Baylor over Purdue

Got a lot for once.

13 Winthrop over Wazzu

11 St Joes over Oklahoma

9 Kent State over Kansas

4 Vandy to the Elite 8

12 Nova over Clemson

6 USC over Wisconsin

11 Baylor over Purdue

12 Western Kentucky over Drake

10 St Marys over Miami

Interesting stuff here. I am running a "dark horse" pool with my friends, so this is all good to see.

1) Winthrop over Washington St.

Watched Washington St. play Stanford the other night and am just not overly impressed with them.

2) Saint Joe's over Oklahoma.

Joe's will win this one fairly easily.

3) Davidson over Zaga.

Not really an upset, but Davidson has been playing too good lately. 22 straight wins. Make it 23.

4) San Diego over UConn.

UConn seems to always being playing with fire. I think they'll get behind and not quite be able to pull this one out.

5) Georgia over Xavier.

I think Georgia keeps up the hot play for a few more games...

6) Nova' over Clemson.

FT's may not be the story of Memphis's demise in the first round, but they will be for Clemson.

7) Oregon over Miss St AND Memphis.

Oregon can play with anyone when they are focused. They could win 2-3 games or lose by 25 to Mississippi State. If they should beat the dogs, I wouldn't be surprised at all for them to stay with Memphis and Memphis gets burned by the FT's in a close game.

11-St Joes over 6-Oklahoma

11-K-State over 6-USC

10-Davidson over 7-Gonzaga (is this even an upset?)

10-St Marys over 7-Miami

10-Arizona over 7-WVU

and my big upset pick is Arizona over Duke in the second round

Lets see I got:

Xavier to elite 8

Pitt to elite 8

USC to swt 16

South Alabama over Butler

For starters, possibly Davidson over Gtown prolly not though.

I went a little crazy and had Stanford winning the whole thing.

Wisconsin over USC.

All the experts are picking USC so Ill go with the underdog on this one.

Im high on Stanford too, i have them losing the National Championship game to Georgetown.

Stanfraud's best win is Washington State. Surely there are better choices.
