Alright, we're through our rotation for the first time, what's been best so far?

The fact that we're 3-2 against Cleveland and Detroit in 5 road games.

touche

You know, I'm not really an intangibles guy, but it really seems that AJ can carry a team with his attitude. Obviously the additions of Cabrera and Swisher are a big factor in this, but when AJ's well, the team seems to perform well.

i'd have to say Danks first outing, it's only 1 outing but he looked like a friggin stud, moreso than any other time i've seen him during a real MLB game, if he can be that good, or at least nearly that good for the rest of the year, we could have the best 1-2-3 in the AL

Gotta go with the Bullpen on this one. A good bullpen can help keep you in games when a SP struggles, or can shut the door when you have a lead. If our BP is as good as it looks right now we will be able to win a lot of ballgames.

No Andy Gonzalez. That's my favorite part.

Has to be andy gonzalez hands down! Addition by subtraction!

Carlos Quentin

^^^^^^^

If Ozzie starts him again tomorrow, I'll praise him. He's too studly.

Also.... BOOOOOOOOOOONE!!

Carlos Quentin

He's been my favorite since he got the starting nod. His homer Friday and almost homer against D-Train as well as other timely hits and most of all that sick 1st base pick off from left field Saturday against Detroit. That pick off is my favorite White Sox moment yet. Well, that and anything AJP :gosox3:

I love the fact that the Tigers are still winless but it's still too early.

Danks really impressed me the other night and Dye & AJ are rocking the house so far.

What's NOT to love?!?!

It has to be Dank's start.Starting pitching will be the determining factor if we make the playoffs or not.Floyd and Contreras will be frustrating to watch all year in my estimation so Danks MUST be good for us to have a playoff push.

Quentin, and I'd like for Anderson to sneak into a couple of games so that he can impress also. Just keep Owens off the team, because if he's on the team, Ozzie will no doubt start him in CF every day regardless of how poorly he performs.

This is simply untrue

We're 3-2 against DET and CLE on the road and we have 5 regulars batting .200 or less (Swisher, Thome, Konerko, Cabrera, and Uribe). Those 5 will all come around.

Dye and AJ have 10 of the team's 21 XBHs.

Danks, Masset, Quentin, and Floyd all have performed better than expected, and the bullpen has been lights out.

The pen and Dank's start.

Although their are many factors to produce win's in a team sport like baseball for me it's Dank. Basically he was the stopper after the 0-2 start. Seeing Quentin's bat and arm also impressed. Haven't see anything yet about Crede's play. It was such a heated debate that it seems his detractors are not yet willing to say he's done better than expected. I was pretty split on the subject wanting him to open the season rehabbing in the minors.

Lance Broadway's start, no doubt.

I know he is no longer in our organization, but anybody know where Andy Gonzalez is? Did somebody actually sign him?

He's with the Buffalo Bison, the AAA affiliate of the Cleveland Indians.

Danks and Gavin. I expect the offense and bullpen to be very good, I'm not sure about those two(plus JC) though. If those two are some what reliable, this is going to be a fun season.

The bullpen is shaping up beautifully. we always knew how good Logan could be. I think this is the year he becomes dominant. macdougal is the x factor. masset appears to be a solid choice for long relief and everyone in baseball knows how elite dotel-linebrink-jenks can be. if the pen pitches like they have through the first 5 games, this team can win 90 games. :gosoxretro:
