Wow. I missed the first 2 frames, but in this half inning, the Twins are getting hits on some half-way swings on good pitches.

 

9 base runners allowed, 7 outs recorded so far. When you consider one of those outs was a pickoff, and another was a great play by Swisher....we're lucky we're still in this.

This might be the worst I can remember seeing Danks at any time. I guess the good news is that it's uncharacteristic of him.

Danks looks like he's also over-throwing, and his motion has gotten inconsistent again.

The fact that he can only get one pitch over with any accuracy, but his high pitch counts and inefficiency is about par for the course... but that was a problem that pretty much stemmed from the first

Monroe walks.

1.) Where was that pitch?? Looked right over the corner to me, just cuz AJ had to reach for it doesnt mean its not a strike

What a very pisspoor, headshaking outing there by Danks.

I like that Ozzie gave Danks a chance to get the last guy out. In a game where we have nothing going for us, it was worth the shot.

I'm still reluctant to give Danks the #3 starter crown.
