Danks just wasn't himself.. I'm not gonna question him after this outing.

Danks wasn't making bad pitches in the 3rd. The Twins just lead the league in getting ducksnorts and seeing eye singles. They nickel and dimed us to death. You can't blame Danks for that inning, he just ran into bad luck. The 1st, however you can blame him for.

Of course you can blame the pitcher...it's called put the hitter away when there's 2 strikes.

KONG! another solo shot by us. 7-2.

keep chipping away...finally PK hits something hard

Paulie!!!

5 more solo HRs, please/

Nice to see PK hit the ball well. Didn't someone say Swisher and PK would do good?

Pauly!!

I'll take one of those an inning, thanks!

Come on now. The Twins didn't hammer him or anything but his location was still bad, he couldn't get his breaking ball over, and there were periods where he couldn't throw strikes at all. It was a bad outing.

nice job by baker to fight back from down 3-0 there...that was a big out for him

AJ hacking up there.

By the way, was Danks throwing his cutter at all tonight? I thought that was the new Coop approved magic pitch.

And whenever it was something off-speed it was almost always a ball.

Baker is really getting them over. Pitching a damn fine game.

CQ K

he K'd the side.

We're not going to come back in this game if we're going to rely on the home rune. Thats what we did in 2006 and 2007, and it didn't work.
