5 guys in the lineup with a batting average below .200

Am I in the catch all negative thread?

What exactly does a Juan Uribe need to do to get a rest. Everyone will get shuffled in and out, besides the crappiest hitter within the starting 9. Kenny needs to make sure that Juan is long gone from this roster next year.

Seriously....what was all that BS about Alexi at 2B?!?........

No, it's just impressive for a team leading the AL in runs scored to have a lineup with 5 guys below the Mendoza mark.

All this post does is prove the sabermetric theory that OBP is more important than batting average.

You're forgetting Brian Anderson's communism.

Of course it's more important....any person that thinks otherwise should just stop watching baseball. It's like the idiot who called in the pregame show and said he was concerned about how many runners the Sox have left on base this year. Well, maybe that's because they're reaching base a lot!

That is better. It was a little disheartening to see that when we had one out in the first inning.

why not put Quentin in Right .. no big deal, but it is his most comfortable position and I'd like to see him out there

Crawford not making the best out of his pathetic .260ish OBP.

You have to wonder why Tampa has held on to him for so long. They're not competing for the AL East title in the next few years, and by the time they can possibly have a shot, they'll lose him to free agency.

OK, so that inning ended very nicely.

Young, aggressive team = more pickoffs to come for Buehrle.

Plus...good lord...look at that pathetic saturday night home crowd. I agree...they should deal him for some stud prospects it they have the opportunity.
