Hey, Masset is pitching well out there. It is the same thing as yesterday and the day before and the day before, ect. How long will this White Sox offense get a free pass from everybody because they manage to hit solo homeruns all the time? bottomline is the offense is failing the starting pitching right now. Giving up 3 runs in a game, like last night, is perfect to me. I'd take that every single game from my pitching staff if I was a Manager, GM, ect. The offense has to pick it up. They're out there just coasting and getting massive pay checks in return. Obviously, Carlos Quentin being the exception.

it's baseball. a lot of things went right early in the year, a lot of things are going wrong now.

 

point blank, if the middle of the lineup returns to its usual form, things are going to get better. if they dont, it wont. but we're not an ozzie ball team, we're a team that's going decapitate people with a boatload of HRs and hopefully some good pitching. that will either lead to a championship or it will not.

Take it from me...relax a little, this team's not worth getting so upset. If you think they can't score one more run the rest of the way, then why does it matter if they win this game or not?

I think the thing that has disturbed me most, and please if anyone else heard it or I'm stating it wrong, please correct me, but about a week ago Hawk said he was talking to Walker and Walker said he thought you would see the teams walks go down. Basically like he was hoping it would, like the walks are a bad thing. Now I know he said he thought walks would go down, but I may be reading too much into it.
