I'd rather we let Quentin bat with someone on base. Ramirez can score on a double, and with Mauer's arm, I'd rather not give up the out.

But I'll take that. He got a great jump.

Ramirez with the steal. 2-2 count. Not a great jump either.

Linebrink hasn't pitched in 4 days and only once since April 28th. To bring him in for Mauer and Morneau at all, let alone while rusty, would likely result in a loss today. I hope my feeling on what is going to happen is wrong.

Mauer has thrown out over 50% of base stealers against him the last 2 years. Sure, Podsednik probably helped those numbers, but yea....

Only Linebrink up in the pen.

Quentin up the middle. 4-2. Speed kills.

I can only assume the Twins had a LHP up and Gardenheir is tripping over himself to get out there

That was sexy.

Huge run.

OMG. we might actually win today.

He HAS to run here, and quick.

Way to produce that run. :headbang

BIG time 2 out hitting by Carlos. A two run lead might still not be enough with Linebrink vs. Mauer and Morneau, but it helps.

CQ and Alexei!!!

PH Anderson

sweet, gamecast totally f'd it up and said CQ walked, hence my jab about Thome and LHP, I like reality way better!!

Something tells me that we're going to see Alexei leading off a lot more now. Dah well, maybe if it puts OC on the bench a few more games...

Nice Carlos!

come on Jim, need some more!!

Agreed, but it'll never happen.

Let's Go Go Go Go White Sox we're with all the way, never in the mood for a dugout fight or however it goes

Time for BA to pinch hit.......

ah forget it

Nice job Quintin. Ramirez will be in center to give Swisher the day off tomorrow. Book it.

Honestly, I don't think you use up BA pinch hitting for your DH. Not with his defense. I'd consider sending up OC.

Keep Thome in...at this point, you'd rather have him in the lineup to face Nathan in case the Twins win. Also, you'd lose the ability to put Anderson in defensively.

Mancrushin' on CQ.

Thome entered today with a .942 OPS against lefties this year. So on second thought, this might be the correct play.

He only comes in defensively when it is blow-out. BA will not be in this game today unless there is an injury.
