5/16 gamethread: Sox (20-20) vs Giants (17-25)

Wow, that looked like a terrible call at 2nd. Anderson must have had a bad jump. He should stay in the game for defensive purposes.

The pitch was at about his shins, he went down and hit a laser beam over the car on the left field wall.

it was maybe the first pitch all year ramirez has actually adjusted to, and he didnt take his humongous swing on

I would hope so.

ARam had a pretty good rip last at bat.

He was definitely safe. It seemed like it took him forever to get there when the camera zoomed out. Even PK could have been safe there.

Oh jeez. come on Wasserman, get your 2007 stuff back.

Wassermann for one batter.

DJ: You have youR first home run ball don't you?

Hawk: No

DJ:Turn to dust?

Classic!

The old jokes are still pretty awesome.

Come on Ehren, get that ERA under 30!

11 hits in 2.2 innings for Wasserman? WOW, that's terrible.

PK is to base stealing as Mark Buehrle is to closing games.

Ozzie brings in Ehren W.

Wass, we need a good one.

Nice play by Crede.

Nice play by Crede. That should be all for Ehren.

All right, get Thorty in here now. Or Boooooone.

He got his one guy.

What a terrible call at 2nd base. I don't mean this in a bad way, but you can tell Ozzie loves coaching in the NL.

He got robbed on what would've been a double down the line.

Speaking of robbed they just showed the replay and holy s*** Anderson was safe by like 2 feet.

Booner comin in.

I seem to remember one game where Buehrle was the 'closer'.

Not any more terrible than the fact you aren't in chat. Get the hell in here already.

Exactly, it doesn't get more perfect that PK trying to steal this season.

I really think the Sox should place PK on the DL. Call up Wise and let play him in center while Swish plays 1st. Wise is a veteran who is hot in AAA and maybe just maybe the guy can keep his hotsreak in the majors or at least provide us with a nice speed option for two weeks.

I'm sure Brian would get dibs before calling anyone from AAA?
