CQ has drawn a lot of walks since his GS in Anaheim.

His eye is getting better by the game.

CQ with the steal. Is there anything this man doesn't do?

Break your heart, apparently.

They are pitching around him.

Man, JD was hot for two games and now if back to his usually suck mode. Slow bat and all.

He needs to figure out how to clone, then clone a few copies of himself and sprinkle around the lineup.

Did Anderson stay in the game?

Ok guys, I gotta go to work. Bring home a winner for us.

no

Gameday had Swisher in CF last half-inning.

I'd be interested in knowing what the batting average from our leadoff spot has been this season, as well as the batting average from the clean-up spot.

And wisely too.

Man, too bad we didnt trade our farm system for Josh Hamilton.

guess = .217

This bullpen has been beautiful to watch the vast majority of the time.

.216 - leadoff

.215 - 4th

.297 - 5th

Dye is WAY better batting 5th than 4th.

Wow, I had no clue Linerbrink's ERA was so awesome.

If you were to guess it based off Soxtalk gameday posts you'd think it was in the low 6's and that he was a complete waste of money that we're stuck with now. He's generally been pretty damn effective. Of course he's had a couple bad outings but what pitcher doesn't?

I just orgasmed. I love shutdown bullpens.

Sit down Rowand.

Any chance Linebrink gets some All-Star consideration as a sick set-up man? Maybe Dotel even? He has more K's than some SP's.

i honestly dont remember linebrink being criticized much at all on here...i think everyone has said hes done a pretty darn good job

Leadoff hitters: .216 with .325 OBP and 2 SBs and 3 CSs

Cleanup hitters: .215 with .697 OPS

I haven't seen many bad things posted about Linebrink at all since the season started.

Linebrink has been soooo good. It's a nice feeling to have a go to guy in the setup role.
