how bout instead we use the avatar bet that someone mentioned earlier in the thread.....im not sure fathom has ever even had an avatar

 

btw why is floyd still out there? he started this inning at about 100...why not get ehren an inning instead of running floyds count up to 110 +

Of all people, shouldn't you have faith that Floyd will tank? In all honesty, I'm thrilled with how Gavin has looked this season.

He was pitching there when I was at UVA, and I don't remember him being anything special. A solid pitcher, who was obviously good enough to be picked high, but never talked about like, OMG hes gonna mo people down in the majors. I never saw him pitch though.

Oh fantastic, now i get to see the biggest jack-leg in the majors pitch for teh Angels in the 9th....

As 84 says, let's just make it an avatar bet or something. It would be ridiculous to kick a great poster off of SoxTalk because of an offhand comment. :P

Funny thing is that I had no recollection of making that comment until it was bumped a few weeks ago. Who knows what else I've bet?

Well, with the exception of some lost control in the 5th, another pretty damn solid game by Floyd

Great job by Floyd...I like that Ozzie let him get the experience of finishing a game.

Me too. I also liked that Ozzie showed confidence in him after that wild inning. That'll pay dividends in the long run.
