All our guys like diving out of the way of inside pitches. Friggin stay in there and if you get hit, you get hit.

Thats because they are diving over the plate to pull a pitch away.

Since we failed to get that runner from 3rd with less than 2 out, I really thought we wouldn't score the rest of the way. And sure enough we haven't even been close.

I have no doubt we are about to get walked off on.

Perfect chance for a Floyd sighting

The all or nothing boys are coming up. Give us a thrill.

I am so sick of the bulls*** hitting. There are no consequences for these guys constantly having their pathetic, selfish at-bats. It's like our manager and managment treat these guys with kid gloves. Didn't KW turn some tables over in the clubhouse in like '03? WTF, that should happen now.

that's the difference between being a Sox fan and a RedSox fan, whereas in their games there just always seems to be a threat to win late, both at home and on the road. The Sox's lack of fundamentals keeps them from rallys on the little things like stolen bases, bunt, singles in the hole.....everything except the HR which happens once in 30 games when it really matters, and for that reason why this division lead is very very fleeting........they can get through another 4 months this was, either 10M+ guys start producing or MN will again take the central in a year when no one picked them....

Thornton has been superb this year.

We have 6 guys in our pen who have been superb. Pretty awesome. If we could just score 4 runs a game, we'd never lose.

Thome, that was beautiful!

If Thome comes up to face Howell, he BETTER PH Quentin and not worry about Jim's feelings.

lol

good point...everyone in the pen really has...dotel has had a rough patch or two, but hes been very good overall

hell even when macdougal was up, he looked bad but got good results

i suppose wasserman has been bad, but he hasnt really pitched meaningful innings

one thing about Thome is that he'll give you everything he has.

Rally Kiss...yikes.

...Jesus, Guillen is lucky.

PK barely gets the job done. Sac fly time!

geez Paulie. perfect outside corner pitch and you still pull it.

got the job done

for those of us "watching" the game on camecast it's stunning how many outs from PK, Dye, Swisher are infield popups, if that doesn't tell the storing on their lack of hitting approach.......

Pablo looked like he knew he could get in the line of any throw to 3rd. Basically blocked Bartlett from getting him.

joe used to be so good in these situations at getting a sac fly...do it again joe

Calling a Crede pop-up to the right side.

I think we all know whats going to happen here.

If they strand Pablo...I won't be shocked.

Rally Crede time.

He got lucky, should have been strike 3.

If I was the hitting coach, I would of told Joe to look away and go with it, don't go into free swing mode. Look for a location. Have a plan. Silly me.
