completely untrue. yes the game is lost, but you handle these things delicately. and she wasn't egging on her supporters, she said we're going to make a decision in the next couple of days. they all know what that means. and the reason she's talking w/ party leaders and such is to decide just that - what is BEST for the party. She's not in this for herself any more than Obama or McCain is.

Wouldn't the best thing for the party be to support the nominee? He won last night. That wasn't even acknowledged. She didn't stop the crowds' boos or chants about Denver. She showed no interest in unifying this party.

She knows she lost. She received 18 million votes I think that's even more than Obama. She has those supporters as an asset to get something she wants. Maybe its one or a few of her causes ie her health care plan, maybe its a spot as the running mate, maybe its paying off some or all of her campaign debt, maybe its a combination of the previous, maybe its all of the previous. Obama wouldn't do it any differently and neither would any politician. Obama will give her something and she turn her "army" over to him.

I got to thinking this afternoon...

Clinotn is absolutely setting herself up fro 2012. Here is why: With all the rumors floating around about her wanting the VP and one of her "people" saying he got the OK from her to begin pushing for her to be VP. She hasnt conceded. Why all this? If it is PUBLIC she wants to be VP and Obama says "no", which it seems he will say it makes him look REALLY bad to her supporters. They wont vote for him out of spite. He looses. She is setup PERFECTLY for 2012.

Sen. Hillary Clinton will drop out of the presidential race on Friday, ending her historic bid for the White House and ceding the Democratic nomination to Barack Obama, ABC News has learned.
