Gathright steals third, Toby overthrows Ozuna, Gathright takes home.

That ball was right at Ozuna, he just didn't catch it.

he did not overthrow him...pablo just whiffed on it.

Jose needs to be more economical with these pitches or we're going to have a Loaiza sighting after all the bullpen use yesterday.

Didn't really get a chance to see the replay, but sorry.

He's still at a halfway decent pace... 51 thru 3 innings. But he's gonna need to go more than 6 if he can

PK better get going, Swisher is leaving him in the dust.....207 to .202.

Exactly. That 7th inning is going to be pretty important tonight.

K. Nice head yank Paulie...

Esty time.

just give alexei the starting 2B job for the rest of 2008, seriously.

this should be a no brainer at this point, even if he slumps for a decent period of time, he's just flat out better than Uribe, and his range is unbelievable

Quick low pitch inning. We really needed that. 3 more of those would be great.

He's going to make a fine SS once Cabrera leaves next season. Ramirez and Beckham will hopefully form a nice tandem up the middle of the infield.

Don't count out Richar just yet

DFA Uribe

Alexei comes trough RBI single.

Does it look like Q backed off the plate a bit?

Not only that, but it will be at least 2-3 years before Beckham does anything of note at the MLB level. This isn't the NBA or NFL.

You know, it's actually entirely possible we'll see Beckham faster than that. He's a multi year college guy, part of his projection says he might be a quick riser through the system.
