June 5, 200817 yr QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 01:35 PM) Jeff Berry. Doesn't he represent a couple Sox guys? With a good relationship, I thought?
June 5, 200817 yr posey's agent..who is it? So now which way do you go, Wally World (Wallace) or Smoak 'Em If You Got 'Em?
June 5, 200817 yr Damn, why did I get my hopes up for Posey? Should have known that wasn't gonna happen. It only leaves me more disappointed now.
June 5, 200817 yr Now the Marlins are expected to go Skipworth at #6 (although Smoak's a wildcard there IMHO), and the Reds Beckham at #7. So right now, I'd say Smoak is our guy. I think everyone will be very pleased with that outcome if it's indeed the case.
June 5, 200817 yr QUOTE (dasox24 @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 02:37 PM) Damn, why did I get my hopes up for Posey? Should have known that wasn't gonna happen. It only leaves me more disappointed now. Smoak's got more offensive potential IMHO than Posey, even though Posey will get to the majors quick and plays at a premium position. Win-win if we got either guy.
June 5, 200817 yr QUOTE (quickman @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 02:38 PM) please take wallace over smoak. id be fine with either.....both should be fast track guys...
June 5, 200817 yr QUOTE (quickman @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 02:38 PM) please take wallace over smoak. Why? Is it the thighs?
June 5, 200817 yr QUOTE (heirdog @ Jun 5, 2008 -> 01:39 PM) Why? Is it the thighs? the guy can flat out hit, I truly think he will be a huge offensive threat.
June 5, 200817 yr Somebody- convince me Wallace would be the better pick over Smoak. BTW, Marlins/Rays World Series in 2011. Edited June 5, 200817 yr by whitesoxbrian
