So you bring in Thornton after letting Russell face a lefty to lead off the inning and then a switch hitter? Lefties in the majors could probably hit .500 against Russell's pathetic slider.

We have been going through having Ozzie leave the starters in too long game by game, lucky enough we won most of them. Not today.

And look how many seem fatigued now. Only Danks and Buehrle seem to have anything left in the tank.

wow... just wow. my one and only day off and chance to see a sox game for the last 2 weeks. this is terrible.

Don't worry....all of our tired players will get some rest during the all star break :)

I hate this f***ing team. NONE of them hit away from this joke of a ballpark not even the great Josh hamilton.

This Linebrink stuff is very strange though. I just pray that everything is ok physically with him.

Well AllSTAR break is here and White Sox are the 5th power in the majors. As much as I hate this game, I love this team, and what we've accomplished so far.

Just let Brian Anderson pitch. Hopefully Thornton gets out of this game healthy.

What is the Sox record on Sunday away games? Kalapse, thanks for the great stats this weekend.

Twins lose - At least it helps this suckage not feel as bad.

Yep, I'll take a 1 1/2 lead in the division over the Twins, and 7 over the Tigers, going into the break.

Juan just not having a day at 3B today.

3-5 after today. 6-1 at home though.

If we can just score 5 here in the 9th and than shut them down in the bottom of the inning....we still get out of today's game with a W!

Well it looks like Jimmy is going to finish the first half with a .254/.376/.514/.890 line. Nice save big man.

Good start by Toby.

After the first 4 get on this inning....we than have the heart of our lineup coming up to push across the lead run.....Quentin, Dye, and Thome

I''m digging the high socks look.

This game ain't over yet.

Kinsler and Bradley still are pretty good hitters on the road.

Check out the home/away splits for Crede, Konerko, Swisher, and Dye. Those are terrible.

Tying run to the plate.

Just f***ing park one.

I just want this to end, OC!!!

I'm impressed.

Did Toby get hurt? I quickly went to shower, and saw that he was pinch run for.
