Mendoza sucks, he is only still in the big leagues because of our crappy approach.

put an end to this slide

We have the right guy starting the thread. Wasn't knightni responsible for our last decent win streak?

Just win. :gosox2: PLEASE. :pray

Knightni is into witchcraft.

If Mendoza shuts us down completely again, we are officially the weirdest team in baseball. Look at his line in his last few starts.

The second time around we usually get these guys. They might not hit them the first time, but they seem to learn something and use it.

Let's go Mark! :gosox3:

Beat Pedro! :gosox3:

Buerhle is suposed to be our ace. Aces break losing streaks. We need a win tonight and Mark should deliver IMO. I hope to catch part of the game over XM radio tonight.

More than 1 run against a below average starter would be nice.

Let's get a goddamn win. Stop f***ing around.

Call me crazy, but it looks to me like Konerko is getting into a groove his last couple games at the plate. Swings look better. I'll go out and predict he's about to get hot.

Why is Buehrle starting today and not on regular rest tomorrow?

his grandfather passed away and the funeral is tomorrow, so he is pitching tonite and leaving after the game

Isn't our victory recipe always the same? We need to hit home runs tonight, need to get a "quality start" and the bullpen has to pitch as it did earlier in the season. If we don't hit dingers, don't we usually lose?

Wrong

Just WIN! :gosox1:

Wrong

I am overwhelmed by the profundity of your artfully crafted retort.

There's the excuse if he gets knocked around tonight...

Classy.

Classy.

Not nearly as classy as Ozzie's comments about it. Usual lineup tonight. I'm one more game away from suggesting we put Alexei in the leadoff spot.

AJP sporting a brand new platinum blond hairdo.

Crede late scratch from the lineup with back stiffness. Your one and only Juan Uribe at 3B tonight!

Can we just trade Crede now and maybe get some good value? However, I'd rather see Uribe at the plate and in the field than Crede right now.

Juan had some decent games coming in as a sub.

And from what I recall, he usually has decent at-bats against righty sinker ballers like Mendoza.
