BA would make a great manager....but right now he's more valuable to us as a player (at least when he's in the game)

Konerko's had a horrible year, I don't think anyone defending him has said otherwise. My belief with him is his injuries have accounted for the big dropoff. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't buy Paul Konerko being a .210 hitter. My deal with Swisher is he has been awful yet people continue to stroke him.

 

It's all confidence with PK right now. Problem is, we can't afford to keep losing games while he kills us at the plate and in the field.

Mechanics are confidence. Physically, I think his hand should be fine by now. Look at his swing at the plate, it's so ugly.

The point fathom made was since its not the starter thats in having a 13 pitch at bat doesn't matter against a guy who's only staying in for one inning. Only the hitter producing matters.
