January 6, 200917 yr There you go Rock a nice make up call for the personal foul and the pass interference. Interestingly, Texas wasnt called for pass interference on any of the close plays.
January 6, 200917 yr QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 5, 2009 -> 09:18 PM) His gf isn't bad to look at. Still pretty pathetic. Shades of Kerry Wood's family from the '03 playoffs.
January 6, 200917 yr Now you guys get to see what we Texas Tech fans b**** about against Texas. Always showing Colt McCoy's family on tv, protection for him at all costs from refs, and refs giving UT all the calls. Fun stuff. If you guys have forgotten yet, Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley's dad's played together in college as well.
January 6, 200917 yr It was a good game for a half. The big-10 has simply shamed themselves this bowl season. Assuming Texas wins, that will be 9-21 in bowl games over the last 4 years, and I believe 0-6 in BCS bowl games since 2006. I don't want to hear anything about how amazing the big 12/SEC and USC are. The last 4 years have been brutal.
January 6, 200917 yr How can Mack Brown even argue that call? The guy was holding his jersey. And Pryor with a td catch. I think that guy has the talent to play in any league.

January 6, 200917 yr So far McCoy has been better beating the blitz than a 4 man rush. We will see what defense OSU tries.
January 6, 200917 yr Anybody see the Billy Ray Cyrus mullet on that Texas player they showed on the sideline? That was fantastic.
January 6, 200917 yr That was a first down, even if Brown has to challenge it. Edited January 6, 200917 yr by Palehosefan
January 6, 200917 yr I am very impressed with what Ohio State is doing. This is the Texas team I thought I would see all year, but of course I was wrong. No real running threat without Charles, who was their offense last year. Texas always gets every call. It's no secret in the Big 12.

January 6, 200917 yr Looks like the refs may have re-spotted the ball from where the initial ref put it... This game is great.
January 6, 200917 yr QUOTE (dasox24 @ Jan 5, 2009 -> 10:38 PM) What the f*** was that? Who was that safety? Adam Archuleta?
January 6, 200917 yr QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 5, 2009 -> 10:35 PM) Maybe the highlight of the bowl season so far. Yeah, I saw that too. I wasn't rooting for either team in the game, but the way Ohio State fought back made me want them to win. Geez, I just realized I was feeling sorry for the Buckeyes. Can't let that feeling last long lol.

January 6, 200917 yr Im putting my entire mortgage on Fla. One spot away from the win. It looked like the receiver fumbled out of bounds to me. Whatev. Good game by Pryor, he was a man amongst boys at times.
January 6, 200917 yr defensive coordinator should be fired for OSU....you have single coverage with a safety on the reciever that has burned you all night with no help over the top with 25 seconds left?? awful....then the dumbass tried playing the ball even though the reciever had the ball for like 2 seconds by the time he got there...brutal
January 6, 200917 yr OSU had their chances but just couldnt do it. They make the field goal, the defensive end catches the ball that hits him in the chest, things maybe go differently. Big 10 coaching has been brutal, maybe thats the reason why they cant win bowl games.

They still would have had to score.

Alot ofOSU fans have been calling for his head for a couple of seasons. The defense hasnt quite been the same since Dantonio left. Big 10 coaching has been brutal, maybe thats the reason why they cant win bowl games. I think it was decently coached at times though, not any worse than Texas' play calling at times. I think there has been a small decrease in overall team talent for OSU at least, but we have lots of young top tier guys on the way to bring it back to what we think will be a very high level. Frankly, Texas should have run away with this game if you compared the teams. Big 12 teams have been dissapointing to me, its hard to think that Texas beat Oklahoma who is going to face off with what I think is a very good Fla team for the national championship. OSU def played better this game with Pryor many games older and with half of Beanie, but man USC beat the s*** out of us, they dominated us much more than Texas even looked capable of.
