They would have botched the rundown too if the runner hadn't fallen on his face.

Richard's ERA is up to 6.94.

Who will be the first person to say those 4 magic words?

he's been good. but not over the top.

.356/.474/.656/1.130 in his last 114 PA

He's been our best hitter over that timespan. He's been white hot of late.

That just terrifies me. As crazy as it sounds, losing so much offense, I think we should just try to have the best defensive team out there we can.

I'm more worried we're going to have like 25 million dollars of injured players on next year's roster.

he's been good. but not over the top.

1.074 OPS in August and 1.273 OPS in September. Unless you can name me a viable replacement to give us those numbers, I suggest you head back to the buster.

And if you don't think that injury is just a killer to the clubhouse morale, then you haven't followed the Sox the last few years.

hmmm... interesting. Guess I never really noticed he was doing that well. Maybe his suckyness earlier this year had a hangover on me.

I sadly stand corrected.

It sure seems like the Sox have sucked on gimmick nights.

yep

jesse litsch is quickly becoming one of my least favorite pitchers in baseball...not sure if you classify it as "intense" but the guy sure acts pretty cocky out on the mound, just with his body language and what not

club house killer is absolutely right. no doubt there.

Well looks like they threw in the towel.

I'd say there's a damn good chance we go hitless for the remainder of this game. Wise, Dye and Thome looked absolutely pathetic right there. I don't think it's a coincidence.

Our hitters showed a lot of life there. On the bright side, if this team doesn't make the playoffs, at least we only have to watch them for 3 more weeks.

I liked the approach of our guys in that inning, particularly Dye and Thome. They really looked excited to be playing baseball right there. Cool.

He spots low and away, and had a decent not good slider. He was built to shut down our type of team.

I like him, seems like just a normal kid having fun on the mound.

First time that I'll agree. It's done.

1B Swisher

2B Ramirez

SS Cabrera

3B Uribe

LF Griffey (If he gets hurt it will be Owens)

CF Wise

RF Dye

DH Thome

C AJ Pierzynski

If that offensive lineup does anything in the playoffs they have to make a Disney movie about it.

I just logged on. Are you kidding me? We're gonna get swept?? What's with us against good teams? I do realize we beat Angels 2 of 3 but some say they are cruising toward playoffs and not in killer mode.

I'm honestly sorry I started this game thread.

konerko aside, i'm still pissed this 5th starter situation is so s***ty. so demoralizing that the sox haven't drafted any decent starting pitching

I'm glad we passed on Paul Byrd.

Oh god, are we gonna have to watch this f***ing Blackhawks commercial during every break now? It's so f***ing annoying.
