September 25, 200817 yr Nobody to blame but the offense. Can someone tell Jermaine Dye the season is still going on?
September 25, 200817 yr Damn. Sorry about extending the page. I feel like I just pulled a White Sox and choked away this loser thread.
September 25, 200817 yr didnt feel like the twins hit a ball hard the entire night...dye has to do something...when quentin went down he had to step up and he stepped back...blown call from the ump certainly didnt help...gotta win tomorrow
September 25, 200817 yr Nearly everyone is slumping. Try this lineup tomorrow, the worst it can do is have the same results as the previous 2 games. 2B Ramirez SS Cabrerra CF Griffey DH Thome 1B Konerko RF Dye LF Swisher C Pierzynski 3B Uribe
September 25, 200817 yr That one hurt more. I'd like to see Swisher or Anderson in CF and Griffey in RF tomorrow with Dye lower in the lineup. They are just going right after Dye and he isn't doing a f***ing thing. It would also be nice to have Dye on the bench for the later innings when they bring in a lefty. Oh Carlos Quentin, where art though right now?
September 25, 200817 yr It wasn't very wise to use Wise in that situation. Sorry, just had to . . . And I say it's mandatory that everyone with a Wise rally avatar is banned from this site for the next game.
September 25, 200817 yr Ron Coomer: "The Southsiders know what it's like to play in the dome now." Are you kidding me? They've been playing there for years. Cabrerra, Dye, Thome, Konerko, Griffey, Swisher, Pierzynski, Uribe, etc. have played in the dome numerous times.
September 25, 200817 yr Screw that...sit Dye. You can't keep playing him right now as he's absolutely useless.
September 25, 200817 yr QUOTE (daa84 @ Sep 24, 2008 -> 08:48 PM) didnt feel like the twins hit a ball hard the entire night...dye has to do something...when quentin went down he had to step up and he stepped back...blown call from the ump certainly didnt help...gotta win tomorrow Nobody to blame but themselves, but that blown call f***ing sucked. I don't know how he missed that. Tonight, I will drink, and it will be mournful but also awesome. Gavin needs to be my boy tomorrow...if he wants to be the ace of this staff, it's his job to win the game tomorrow. Don't count on any more than 2 runs. Shut those f***heads down.
September 25, 200817 yr if the Sox actually think they are going to get help from KC they have another thing coming. this season is all but over. The Rally Dweezy obviously didnt work, the dude stranded 6. If OC was there, this game probably would have been won. Oh well the Sox had there chance to extend the lead to 3.5 in KC and they blew it.

September 25, 200817 yr Its time for stopper Floyd to show up. I saw Q practicing hitting in the dugout...
September 25, 200817 yr Bunch of f***ing losers. This team is self-fulfilling prophecy personified, tell yourself over and over that you can't win and guess what? You're not gonna f***ing win.
September 25, 200817 yr OC is one of the very few guys on this team that actually cares. That's coming from someone who really didn't like OC at all several weeks ago. I wouldn't be upset to see half of these guys gone next year. No fire. No intensity. No drive to win. They're just dead out there. Stick a fork in this turkey, it's done for.

He must be clinically retarded because I'm fairly sure I heard monkeys who were trained to fill in circles score, on average, 13 on the ACT. Edited September 25, 200817 yr by Flash Tizzle

I want my sunday lineup. 1.Owens LF 2. OC SS 3. Thome DH 4. Konerko 1B 5. Alexei 2B 6. Swish RF 7. AJP C 8. BA CF 9. Fields/Uribe 3B
September 25, 200817 yr The tourch is being passed. The White Sox look like the old, plodding team they are. They provide no sense of excitement and the pitching simply isn't good enough to carry the clods we have hitting. This roster needs to be turned over in the off-season. You can't count on Cleveland and Detroit being derailed by injuries again and the Twins will only be better as they kick off the dust of being major league neophytes. We currently have at least 3 designated hitters on the roster, 4 corner outfielders, no center fielders, a poor hitting 3rd baseman, a prima donna at shortstop, 1 horrible starting pitcher making more money than god, another starting pitcher older than John McCain coming off an injury, and no semblence of a strong future. But to make up for all this, the Bears suck ass, I hate the NBA, but at least there is always the Blackhawks. Edited September 25, 200817 yr by kwolf68
September 25, 200817 yr I don't know what I despise more, the Twinkies or the Hump Dome. I had a bad feeling about this series, but I didn't think the Sox were going to be as pathetic as they have been.
September 25, 200817 yr As I said in the game thread, I'm one of the most positive guys here. But I really have a feeling it's over. I mean, how can anyone expect this team to keep a lead, when they have NOTHING; no sense of real baseball, no heart, no soul, no hunger, no focus, no MANAGER, no NOTHING. Yes I have some hope and I REALLY want to be wrong, but I just can't see them winning it from here, and if they lose tomorrow... that's the dagger.
September 25, 200817 yr Why would you want Griffey on the bench? It seems like he really is starting to see the ball and actually was productive. I think he may be responsible for every run the Sox have scored this series. Edited September 25, 200817 yr by Soxbadger
September 25, 200817 yr QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Sep 24, 2008 -> 09:54 PM) He must be clinically retarded because I'm fairly sure I heard monkeys who were trained to fill in circles score, on average, 13 on the ACT. This wasn't a dome game, Sox handed them this game. so it will be... Dome Game Sox choke game Sox laydown and Twins are up 5 by the second inning
