Wasn't dumb he would have run right into the tag . By making the 2nd baseman chase him a lil bit maybe Wise beats the throw and since they got Wise maybe they throw it away in the rundown. Not much chance of either happening but make them make the harder play. Pretty smart actually.

This is Cuddyer's first start in a long time I think. But he's had great numbers against Danks.
