Jon Garland has about the same contract this year, and a higher ERA and a lot fewer strikeouts than Vazquez. However, he went 14-8 because he doesn't poop his diapers whenever the Angels give him a lead. His inflated ERA is because when he sucks, he just sucks really bad.
