Only problem I have with this series is that they won't get the chance to lose at home. Those are always the funnest.

They got that taken care of last year

can anyone tell me the popular cubs message boards? id like to hear their take on this disaster.

Northsidebaseball.com@Iampablo. That's the most popular one out there. Their gamethreads the last few days have been priceless.

one guy is complaining about the playoffs being a joke.. haha... just win the games then if your that good of a team

Damn, that sounded good off Either's bat.

I wish the Dodgers had gotten a few insurance runs there. . .

Where the hell was that 1-2 pitch to Soto?

I think they're going to eventually get to Kuroda. He doesn't look very sharp at all.

I have to admit, that's just wrong that you can just walk the #8 hitter to get to the pitcher.

Both teams should have 2 or 3 more runs then they currently do. The question is which team will take advantage.

Harden starting to get in a little groove. Let's hope the Cubs' offense continues to gag.

I think the game is not over yet, Harden settled, and Kuroda isn't exactly looking sharp.

Kuroda sits they asses down 1-2-3. This is unbelievable. How does a team just forget how to play baseball after being so good all year?

Because they are the Cubs. It's what they do.

3-0 Dodgers. This would be so much more enjoyable if our season wasn't on the brink of ending.

For the first time, I'm starting to actually feel sorry for Cubs fans. This is terrible. I especially feel bad for my brother who probably spent $1000 to see this garbage live.

Feel sorry for Cubs fans? That's like feeling sorry for a 35-year old man that's about to get beat down unmercifully for molesting a child.

I'll never feel sorry for their fans. Being a Cub fan is just asking for pain, sadness, and punishment, and it's their own damn fault for being that stupid.

Okay, so I feel bad for your brother.

I don't feel bad for other fans, though.

I live for the pain of Cubs fans. I have nothing but contempt and disgust for every single one of them. I hope this one hurts bad. I hope they get so depressed they try to hurt themselves.

Well that's you, Tony. And I bet you'd get sick of those guys real quick if the Cubs were ever to win it all.

See, thats sad.

I have friends that are just as big as baseball fans as I am, and grew up Cub fans. I dislike a lot about the Cubs, and hope to see them fall here, but I know how much joy I got from seeing "my team" win the world series, and at some point every die hard should experience it.

I have a conflict here. I have friends that are Cub fans, including perhaps my best friend, and I know how happy it would make them to see the Cubs win. But I simply could never grasp them winning the World Series, even with as happy as it would make some people I do care about. It would just be an unbearable event overall.

Yeah. Part of me says "NO MERCY!" But, another part of me feels a little bad for my brother , friends, family and other cub fans who have been cool with me. The blowhard cub fans can cry themselves to sleep every night until next year.
