Totally disagree. Our hitters have gotten taken by the Rays pitching.

+1

Bucknor is a very, very minor reason for this loss.

If you missed the Iwamura pitch before the homer, then please just shut up about this, as that was one of the worst non-calls you'll see.

that.

Yeah, the offense is still to blame for leaving all of those runners on base, but Buckner has been absolutely terrible tonight.

Hey, it ain't Mark's fault, he pitched a solid game, blame it on our inept offense!

Let's not act like Cubs fans now. He wasn't great...but he gave us a chance to win.

on tv too. Where are you getting your strikes and balls? The Umpire?

Im watching the damn game...and the curve to Swisher was a strike. If you have some extenstential view of it that gives you a better view than I then Id love to see it, but the pitch to Swisher was STRIKE 3...

I have confidence we'll now score a third run in this game and lose 4-3.

Getting into the postseason made me forget how terrible this team is. Could have easily won both games and what happens? LOL.

I totally agree with ya there.......

Keeping Buerhle in the game didn't work out, but I'm not going to complain. He's pitched a great game, and Ozzie was hoping to get one more inning out of him. It didn't work. Probably won't matter with our offense not capable of scoring without homeruns.

That's why it was so important to make it. Like you said, people forget how much this team sucked in September.

Reynolds speaketh the truth.

Because the truth is so unavoidable, even Harold Reynolds can see it.

That he did.......

The Rays execute way better than we do, that is what seperates us from them.

Yes, that's the just the turn of the knife we need....

You can tell it's the Rays' year, like it was ours in 05. We are that year's Red Sox.

For the record, the bighurt never forgot how terrible the sox are. All he ever talks about is how terrible the sox are.

looks like were going to have to win 3 in a row again. yikes!i just hope we dont get swept. getting swept in the playoffs sucks ass.

Harold Reynolds is terrible. Go f*** yourself and state the obvious while you're at it. If that's what TBS wanted you to do, you're doing your job well.

Sorry, I saw nothing wrong with any calls...in fact the 1-0 pitch that WAS called a ball was VERY CLOSE....it could have been called a strike. Swisher has to swing the damn bat in that situation.

We're not coming off a World Series Championship.

Again, with two strikes you have to protect the plate.

Strike one and strike two don't get you called out.

There are a ton of similarities, such as the Red Sox having to start a terrible Clement against us in game 1.

I'm glad we have a catcher who can throw out 3% of runners.

Thanks Tim McCarver.

And you know what...I believe they can...While this team irks me and they piss me off, Im not bailng yet. We have 2 home games w/ Danks and Floyd. If Danks can get us the W then momentum may be back with us...I think the Rays end it in 4 or we take it in 5.

Obviously. Maybe not the best comparison, but you know what I mean.
