kellogg is awful behind home plate....how do these guys get to the major leagues?

 

This just isn't a good baseball team. It's old, laborious, is full of poor hitters, who are all or nothing, can't run, and are crappy in the field.

 

Off-season should be a total overhaul.

I'm not even upset right now. The White Sox were a good team this year, but not a great one. We are lucky to get this far, and a divisional championship is something to be proud of. It's not like we were a 100 win team with a great rotation and lights out pen. This simply isn't our year. Anyone else feel the same?

It's good, just inconsistent. You don't win 89 games being bad. This team will never win more than about 85-90 games though.

Griffey hasnt been nearly as bad as Thome or OC this series

We should have an outfield of Bonds, Griffey, and Sheffield next year with Thome as the DH. lol we'd give up like 8 runs a game with that outfield.

Sums up my feelings pretty well. I've just spent the last 3 innings or so reminiscing. It was a very frustrating season. There were some awesome moments though. I already can't wait for 09.

I'm upset because White Sox baseball is over and I love baseball season, especially in April, May, and June. Otherwise I'm proud of this team, they exceeded my expectations, but I'll just be sad to see their season over.

Inconsistent = Not good or mediocre. AL Central helped this team. The talent is deficient, one dimensional. We need a new paradigm. The fact we have 3 or 4 players who are or potentially should be Designated Hitters is a testament to our problems.

one dimensional offense,our BP went south after June and losing CQ,Crede,Linebrink,Contreras and Swisher sucking big time was too much to overcome...
