What will be Kenny's signature move of 08-09?

Featured Replies

So what will be Kenny's big trade of this off-season? Who will he bring in here this year for the move that will resonate into next year?

Adrian Beltre or Brian Roberts.

Chone

Getting a lead off hitter that has a great obp.

He better.

Nothing.

Someone completely off the radar is my guess will be the big move. Figgins will be secondary IMO, if at all. Last year's signature moves were Q and Alexei and no body in their right mind would have guessed that before the off-season. KW's signature move may be a seemingly nothing move prior to ST, but after the year, it could be big. I am going to say some Ryan Ludwick type who has been a solid major leaguer, then KW gets him cheap and he produces. I just feel we will have the big move (like Swish last year), the secondary moves (Dotel/Linebrink) and then the signature move (Q and Alexei).

This. KW is going to make a trade out of nowhere ala Swisher and Griffey. With KW, if something is heavily rumored and hotly talked about, it usually fails to materialize.

I think Dye for Figgins is a possibility.

After that, maybe a starting pitcher, a bullpen arm, and a backup catcher.

One thing is for sure with Kenny--expect the unexpected.

That would be just a terrible, terrible trade

Acquisitions of Jon Garland, Roberto Alomar, and Carl Everett.

Weren't you the one who recently said that the only thing Kenny could surprise you by doing, was nothing at all.

Pretty much.

Ill say it again... he's going after Robinson Cano to lead off and play 2B

Vazquez and Dye will be going for prospects and MLB level young guys.

Some of those guys will be dealt to Florida for a SP.

Scott Olsen and Ryan Zimmerman

That sounds like Kenny.

Luis Castillo and Willy Taveras.

resigning Juan Uribe
