Reid Brignac - (SS prospect, bat slipped in 2008 though)

Matt Moore - (LHP spect)

Nick Barnese - (RHP spect)

Terrific opportunity to buy low on a leadoff man who could easily get 50 steals, 20 HR's (in the Cell) and a .350 OBP. I'd love the move and would be willing to toss them a Lance Broadway scrap in addition to Dye.

I'd be shocked if the Rays would entertain that notion with Dye being the main piece coming from our end...

I see an arm as one of the main targets for KW, you wont see any of the marquee names on the Rays coming in for JD, it just wont happen.

If we are moving Dye, I would think it has to be to a cost-cutting move...

Maybe we want Carl Crawford and are dangling Jermaine Dye to get him? Other way around.

 

Jermaine Dye is pretty underrated here, they guy has been one of the best corner OF's in the AL for the past 3 years.

If JD bring us some flexibility to go and sign someone on the FA market, thats even better.

If a Dye deal went down, I just have a gut feeling that Jeff Niemann might be part of the deal.
