That seriously made me laugh out loud, I almost blew Dr. Pepper through my nose, lol.

never have been a fan of broadway, and he's most likely quickly falling out with the FO player evaluators as well

players like him actually need to perform in spring training, and he was clearly rattled in a game that doesnt matter

Ugh. Pierzynski and Corky in game 2, easily the 2 least interesting of the 4 for me.

Brad Salmon fillets the A's in the bottom of the 6th.

A Miguel Negron sighting.

A Miguel Negron sighting.

Yeah, I figured we'd see some guys from minor league camp in this game, wouldn't be surprised if David Cook gets in the game soon.

Nice to see Lilly getting on.

Lillibridge laid down a perfect bunt for a base-hit.

And then brain-cramped his way into getting thrown out at first on a 7-3 double play.

Sounded like a hit and run gone wrong, the announcers seemed pretty damn impressed with that guy's throw.

your word play was not lost on me, well done.

Glad to see Beckham hitting the ball hard, even if he got out.

Have you not watched the White Sox, they swing for the fences and usually pop out.

New season same old story right?

Another typical mistake & that's running yourself out of the inning

Jesus, Ozzie didn't leave us much for the televised game tonight. Who of interest is even left?

C: Pierzynski/Miller

1B: Konerko/Broussard/Myrow

2B: Getz/Nix

SS: Beckham/Betemit/Santos

3B: Fields/Castillo

LF: Wise/Kroeger

CF: Owens

RF: Dye/Restovich

I assume they'll use mostly players from minor league camp to off the bench in the day game since that's in Phoenix.

You're killing me Ozzie.

Hey, maybe you'll get some Gookie in the night game.

Game over.

Sox loose 2-7 on a two-run shot by Deyan Viciedo.

There's just so much wrong with this post.

SO top performers:

Lilly 3-5

Viciedo 1-3 with a walk, an HR and 2 RBIS

BA 1-3 with a walk

Danks 2-4

Allen all or nothing, 2k's 2 BB

Cassel 1.2 IP 1 hit 3k's

And most of the ex sox on the A's

Lilly batting .357 on the spring

Viciedo batting .364

Dammit, those are all the guys I would like to see in action in this game. Especially JorDanks...

We'll see what the line-up is for the Cub game

That was pretty bad.

Nix and Lillibridge both doing really good so far this spring training, Getz needs to step up.

Me too, I never cared for Broadway, either. One of my best friends is a big Broadway fanboi and he's in denial over how much he sucks, no matter how hard I try to get it through his head that Broadway is terrible.

Sure it's nice how Broadway got that win against Kansas City, but anyone can win against KC.

I'd rather have Clayton Richard. Ever since his game at Yankee Stadium, and how he pitched almost flawlessly in relief in game 1 against Tampa in the ALDS last year, I've been a believer. :gosox3:

There aren't many interesting players left for tonight's game.

C: Pierzynski/Miller/Flowers

2B: Getz/Nix/Torres

3B: Fields/Castillo

Getz, Nix, Fields, Flowers and Kroeger. Whoohoo! They're not gonna have players from minor league camp travel to Las Vegas so I doubt there will be any fun surprises like Jordan Danks. A Tyler Flowers sighting would be nice. I'm sure Owens will play all nine.
