More so than in College for sure. He looks to have more of a Sheffield-type swing now.

Right, I thought I was the only one noticing it. I remember him having a quiet bat.

Viciedo on deck.

wow i can't remember too many 3-1 swings from carlos that looked like that one....

Viciedo hitting for Thome next. Feel the pain Aussies!!

Viciedo coming up for Thome!

Not that he would ever be the same kind of player....I thought I remember people comparing his swing to A Rod's. Weren't they?

TCQ.

Q was pissed he swung at that.

Wow, that was an awful K. Hanging curve.

That pitch just kept running in. I think Carlos was expecting something else. Oops wrong grab.

That is one huge 19 year old.

not a strike but mercy rule applied.

Dayan seems a bit more patient than the typicaly Cuban. Albeit its on a very small sample size.

man this pitcher is hanging a ton of his breaking balls and we haven't really been able to capitalize on em much

This pitcher has a lot of break working on his curve ball

The game I saw on Sunday would make me disagree. He was swinging at everything. Any reports on Quentin's health so far this year?

Oh, and seeing Beckham, Ramirez, Quentin, and Viciedo bat in an inning is definitely boner-inducing.

How did that bat break? It wasnt hit off the end, not off the handle. Its a hard single if it doesnt.

dayan gets sawed off, his swing was awesome though, nice technique going where the ball was pitched

every time ive seen viciedo it looks like his approach is up the middle-the other way...i like that

Quentin has said he's fine for months and we haven't heard anything negative about him rehabbing or complaining about hurt. His timing just looks to be off to me.

It really is. Flowers, Kroeger, Becks, Alexei, Q, Viciedo batting in a row. Sexy.

I've heard on the Score and ESPN 1000 that the Sox are saying he's 100%

Linebrink 2.0 in for his second inning.
