Is this the first time all year Ozzie has put the same lineup out twice in a row?

NO WISE!!!!!!!!

We had the same exact lineup for games 1 and 2 of the season. This is at least the 5th time this season.

Mark Buehrle: is going for his 20th career victory against the Royals. Buehrle has given up more than three runs only once in nine starts this year, pitching at least seven innings in the last four. That's how long he lasted Sunday, though he did not get a decision as he allowed one run and a season-high 12 hits in a 4-3 loss to Pittsburgh. The White Sox are 27-12 when Buehrle takes the mound against the Royals, winning his last three starts against them as he's posted a 2.50 ERA. The left-hander held Kansas City to two runs and six hits over five innings April 11 before the White Sox rallied for a 4-2 victory.

Gil Meche: is 7-3 with a 3.93 ERA in 15 starts against the White Sox. The Royals have lost Meche's last four starts and he's been charged with losses in three of those games, including Monday against Detroit when he allowed four runs -- two earned -- and six hits over a season-low 2 1-3 innings of a 13-1 loss. Meche is winless in five home starts this season and has failed to last past the fifth inning in three of them.

I hope so. The Nazi's over at WSI kept banning me for ridiculous reasons.

Yeah, this place is 1000x better than WSI (at softball too ;))

A win puts the Sox in 2nd place, right? That is unless the Twins make a comeback right now.

Correct.

Back to how good Zach Grienke's been he has more wins(8) then he does earned runs(7)

With Pods and BA hitting, I really really like that lineup.

Podsednik sure is living off that one game in Anaheim.

awesome bunt Ramirez

What is he, like 2-15 since that game with no walks?

Even if you take away that one game, there is no denying that Podsednik has been far better than expected, both offensively and defensively.

If Getz doesn't take his eye of the ball yesterday, Pods would have had another assist.

That didn't work out too well........

Can we get a mulligan?

1-0 KC

Apart from the scoreboard, I don't like the new Kauffman outfield. Looks weird.

Take away his 1 fluky game and his OBP drops below .300 and no that's really not any better than what I expected, that's awful. The leadoff spot is still a big whole. As for his many assists: when you have a noodle arm they're gonna take some real stupid chances on you, I give Podsednik credit, he's gotten those lollipop throws to the bag on time.

He's been better than most people realize...

Thanks!

LOL.

Thank you!

HOLY s***, ERA+ of 535??? I knew he was good, but hot damn.

2-16. His OBP in the leadoff spot is right around .310 even counting his amazing day in Anaheim.

His new style of hitting basically makes it impossible for him to draw a walk. Lets just hope he can keep swinging the magic wand though.

What happened on the triple?
