Probably has to do with bunts being a stupid, stupid play this early in the game and Beckham being a non-worthless player at the plate. Just a guess though.

Seeing as they have not scored and Beckham has one total at-bat maybe it would be a positive thing for him to build on instead of being 0-2 and falling right in line with the offensive failing of this team today.
