Once Q comes back Podsednik will be the starting CF, with Anderson being the backup/defensive replacement.

But if he can't hit LHP, he's not going to help out very much. Between CQ/Pods/Dye, you're looking at a guaranteed number of starts due to injuries the rest of this year. We need better than BA.

In most of his career Anderson has been a better hitter against RHP than LHP. When we platoon him and only play him against LHP, it screws him up on everything. It's been that way since 2006.

Dye is 6/21 in his last 7 days and hit .261 in May.
