let's take the lead.

Where is this mid 90s fastball that Poreda is supposed to have? If he is going to throw in the low 90s with fringe-average secondary pitches he's going to get shelled sooner or later.

Same place the great Alexi Ramirez defense is.

Poreda seems to be fine without the big fastball. Coop has success with this so we shall see.

Alexei is inconsistent, sometimes great, so not a great example.

Also remember, Coop will teach his pitchers at times to dial it back a couple clicks to get better control and consistent delivery. Not sure if that is the case with AP, we'll have to see.

what the hell happened there?

Hey f*** you ump.

Alexei did not swing but rather was trying to avoid a pitch by his face.

He gets called out on a swinging strike. Bad Call.

Base hit for JD. Two out.

Jimmy AB.

Konerko up as the tying run after a Thome walk.

Jim walks, JD to second, Paulie (the tying run) now AB.

No, he's pretty awful. Having no range to your right and being just terrible turning a double play = below average SS.

Bags should be loaded with 1 out. Thanks Blue.

Unfortunately I can't watch the game...just following it on Yahoo. Sounds like the ump sucks?

Disagree, I'd call him overall average.

crap.

konerko groundout to third ends the inning.

Paulie grounds to Peralta.

Yay. More walks.

And it's the #9 hitter. Sheesh

Well, Richard followed by Carrasco equals two bad showings. I can't believe the lack of control and picthers who should hold the opositon so our offense can come back. We are still in this at 9-6 though

Sacrifice bunt in a barn burner? Wtf!?!

Wedge is mocking Ozzie. Or doing an impression.

No idea. Indians did that in a similiar type of game against the Yanks earlier this season with Shoppach.

I ran away from the desk for a while. Did we try sacrificing last inning?

No, I mean in general, the love of bunting.
