We started off the year struggling vs starting pitching but hitting the bullpen hard. It's completely changed since mid-May.

They can hit s***ty relievers. It is the good bullpen guys that shut them down. Aren't they 2-30 or something when trailing after 6?

Yay. 7-8-9 hitters for the 9th.

Thanks Ozzie for starting Richard on short rest.

No Pinch Hitters Ozzie. We have been rotten with pinch hitters this year. Its basically an automatic out. Just ride what you have out today and hope it works.

Just an absolutely idiotic decision coming off of the start in KC where he ran out of gas. We treat him like he's a 20 year veteran with a rubber arm, when really his most success is pitching like a power lefty.

When did Jenks last pitch?

The Tony Pena era begins.

Anyone who's watching, give us their impressions of Pena please.

Maybe he is better suited for long relief and Poreda should start?

Wise in Left Now?

So an automatic out leads off the inning instead of Nix who has proven he can make solid contact.... Nice Ozzie....

he seems to have alot of movement on his fast ball

Come on he threw 70 pitches if that last Sunday. He needed to have a better effort today and he sucked. 6 runs over 5 innings would've given reason to complain about hte short rest. He has gotten seemingly worse every time out.

I like Danks going on extended rest.

That just makes no sense at all...

Well he gives up a hit to the very first batter he faces while a member of our team

A weak hit that happens to go where no one is playing I can live with.

A lot of movement, but can't find the zone.

About to walk the #8 hitter.

Kenny needs to do a better job of keeping Timo Perez types away from the roster. Ozzie can't control himself.

I just noticed Dotel's run was unearned.

Alright Tony.

Let's get some runs!!!

pena pitches out of it
