I can't say I disagree. That's what we did with Garland and it paid off. Gotta let them grow. Right now though, I take him out with high confidence.

There's a difference between showing confidence in a guy and pushing a guy's arm farther than it should go. He's probably never thrown this many pitches in an outing at any level, and certainly hasn't done it in the big leagues.
