Am I the only one who thinks Verlander did not pitch well at all? We totally let him off the hook.

 

I agree. We had him at 73 pitches after 4 innings. I didn't think he was going to last past the 6th. Then the first pitch hunting started.

I never understood why players don't stand on 1st and wait for balls in the dirt. If you're looking for it and jump to 2nd the second it hits the dirt, most of the time you'll be in safe at 2nd. Valentin used to be the man at that.

Any chance Lexi and Beckham switch stops in the lineup?
